Headaches, noisy or painful jaws and neck pain are all indicators of a problem of the jaw muscles, joints or occlusion (bite). Dr. Barnes has extensive training and experience diagnosing and effectively treating head and neck pain. Dentists and physicians throughout the area refer their patients to Dr. Barnes for evaluation and care.

IV Sedation
Treatment of patients who are nervous, have difficulty with numbing, or have extensive needs requiring IV sedation will experience a pleasant and comfortable visit. Dr. Barnes works with certified Nurse anesthetists to provide safe, comfortable dentistry for all his patients. He is also certified in ACLS. Other techniques involve the use of safe oral medication and/or nitrous oxide to alleviate dental anxiety or problems with local anesthetics.
